Last night I went to network at Business After Hours hosted by the Albany Chamber of Commerce and Industry. As I entered I could smell the amazing food being cooked by Memorable Morsels. The drinks got everyone loosened up and talking.

Before the formal talks began I met a man named Vin who runs an IT consultancy business. As usual at the end of the talks winners get drawn out. This evening the man next me to who I have never met before, turned to me and said “ I have a gut feeling you are going to win this”. Would you believe it… the winner of the prize was me!!!

This has blown me away. I am not someone who ordinarily believes in destiny and fate but I now have a sense of something bigger than us. There is no way of explaining this scientifically. Yes, it could just be a coincidence but it felt more purposeful than that. The universe acts in strange ways and this may have been a sign for me to listen more carefully.
